Your Appointment

Dr Andrea Ang Perth Eye Surgeon Ophthalmologist Laser Eye Surgeon

What should I bring to my appointment?

  • A copy of your referral from your Optometrist or GP

  • Your medicare card and your private health insurance card if you have one

  • Your current glasses and/or contact lenses prescription

  • The names of any eye drops that you are currently taking

What should I expect during my appointment?

During your visit you will be seen by our highly trained eye optometrists for vision and pressure measurements, and you may require multiple tests in the clinic. As part of a full examination you may require your pupils to be dilated. This means you should not drive for 2 hours and need sunglasses to help with the glare. Expect to be in the clinic for 1 to 2 hours. Dr Ang values your time and we make every effort to minimise wait time.

Will I get a report from my appointment?

Dr Ang routinely sends a detailed report to your optometrist and GP after the appointment. Please ask Dr Ang if you would also like a copy.
